To commemorate the centenary of Verner Panton’s birth, Fritz Hansen has reimagined Arne Jacobsen’s iconic 1955 silhouette using Panton’s signature color theory. The pressure-molded veneer shell is finished in a full lacquer, sporting four specific hues—Yellow, Orange, Red, and Brown—extracted directly from Panton’s personal archives. This special edition bridge’s Jacobsen’s mastery of form with Panton’s revolutionary use of color, resulting in a piece that feels both historically significant and strikingly modern.
